The Medical Information Systems Division conducts activities focused on standardization and modeling of medical information systems such as electronic health records operated by medical institutions, working to achieve common security and interoperability between systems.
In addition, we propose, promote, maintain and support JAHIS standards and in collaboration with the Standardization Promotion Subcommittee, we gather information about and propose international standardization activities such as HL7, ISO/TC215 and so on.
